On March 13th 2023, our agency had the honour of offering free interpretation services to Make-A-Wish Greece on the occasion of their “Thank you Night” event. The event was held at the Athens Concert Hall, was attended by international representatives of the Make-A-Wish organization and had an abundant turnout of children, parents, volunteers, sponsors and general public.
Make-A-Wish Greece is part of Make-A-Wish International, an organization that works to make the wishes of children living with critical illnesses come true. The organization has been operating in Greece since 1997 and encourages wish grantors to donate through fundraising, gifts, and products. Their mission is to bring smiles and joy to every child facing a life-threatening illness by granting their wish, which has been proven to have life-changing impact.
Alphabet was also a granted a wish as it was given the opportunity to offer pro bono interpreting services. Hence, our team of skilled interpreters provided their services at no cost, helping to facilitate communication and ensure that the event ran smoothly. It was an emotional and truly rewarding experience for everyone involved!
We believe in giving back to our community and supporting organizations that make a difference in the lives of those in need. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with Make-A-Wish Greece and look forward to working with them again in the future.
